Business to consumer or B2C content marketing is similar to the theory used in B2B marketing or business to business marketing. However, it concentrates on addressing potential individual consumers looking for products that are not used for business or retail.
B2B and B2C are similar in many ways. However, B2B is more on the business aspect; meanwhile, B2C is more personal. But in the aspect of content marketing, B2B and B2C are quite similar. 
What is B2C content Marketing?

When you are dealing with business to consumer content marketing, you have to accept that you are the business and you are looking for consumers in the Net. You are going to get consumers through creating useful content.
Content marketing is generally considered as a business to consumer type of marketing. You use content that interests people in the internet making them your potential consumers.
Creating an Effective B2C Strategy

When you have a business, you should also have a business strategy. B2C content marketing also needs a strategy that will suit your business. You need to remember a few things when creating a strategy in making content for B2C marketing.
• Target your Audience
– you have to know who your audience is and what they are interested in.
• Create high quality content – this is the most vital part of business to consumer content marketing. If your potential consumers do not find your content useful or valuable, they won’t find your brand or business valuable as well. Remember that your content is your “bait.”
• Research is crucial – you have to know the latest trends and news about your industry. People are always up-to-date; you should be too.

These are some of the strategies that you might consider using. However, you have to choose which will work for you best.
• Articles
– this is the basic yet effective strategy to use in your B2C content marketing system. Consumers can easily access articles through search engines and blogs.
• Contests
– hosting contests is a great way to initiate and improve consumer interaction and communication. This also provides them reasons to check out your brand or website.
• Videos
– videos are great channels for providing information because it attracts more people and it is more interesting and eye-grabbing than articles. If you are marketing recipes, games, programs or anything that needs to be seen in tangible form, then videos are most likely be advised
• Social Media postings
– We all know that social media already plays a big role in every person’s life. Every person is connected to one or two types of social media which makes social media a great tool to use in B2C content marketing.
Almost all marketers in the internet are using content marketing in their marketing system. The reason is that it is effective, easy and low-cost. Although, there are a lot of marketing methods in the internet, content marketing is considered as essential in so many ways. This makes B2C content marketing an essential for business to consumer marketing.
