With such a large population, there is no better way to market your business or product other than through Facebook. Thousands of companies all over the world have already used Facebook to their advantage and are enjoying the fruits. The advantage of marketing through Facebook is that you have an unlimited number of people to reach to worldwide.
Just like any other method of marketing; to run a successful Facebook marketing campaign, you will need a Facebook marketing plan. A marketing plan for Facebook will enable you to stay focused as it will contain all the guidelines for the marketing programs. In short, your Facebook marketing plan will be your road map to achieving a successful marketing campaign on facebook.
Below is a guideline to help you prepare your self a winning marketing plan for facebook.
1. Cover page:
–the cover page is the title page of your company or business. In this page you should indicate items like;
a. The name of the company.
b. The address and telephone numbers of the company.
c. The date when the plan was prepared.
d. The name of the compiler.

2. Executive summary: -as the name suggests, it is basically the section where the whole marketing idea is summarized in few words. Incase you plan to use this Facebook marketing plan to acquire funds; then you must pay extra attention to this section. Even though it comes second in the list, this section is usually written last. This section contains;
a. A brief introductory to the company. –don’t forget to mention why it is unique.
b. Why you have chosen Facebook marketing.
c. The requirements you will need for market on facebook.
d. The Mission & Vision Statements.
e.  Competitors and your advantage over your competitors.
f. Financial projections.

3. Table of Contents: -this page is just for easy navigation through the plan booklet. It allows you or any other reader to directly go to pages he or she is interested in.

4. Product or Services: -define what you are offering. Make sure it is written simple and neat. Also include all the features and the elements that make it different from the rest in the market.

5. Market strategy: -in this section, explain everything to do with the market.
a. The market needs. –describe what the market needs and how you will fill the gap.
b. The target markets. –list your target customers.
c. The market trends. –point out factors that may change the market.
d. Marketing research. –describe a planned research if any.

6. Competition:
a. List you biggest competitors.
b. Pin-point what makes them big and how to handle the competition.

7. Distribution. –in this scenario, the mode of distribution would be your landing page.
a. List what makes the landing page unique.
b. What to include in the landing page.

8. Implementation and control:
a. Show all programs in timetables.
b. How to control incase things go wrong.

9. Appendices: -if at all you have any other relevant documents to your Facebook marketing plan, then you can attach to the appendices.
Just use these simple guidelines to prepare a winning marketing plan for facebook.
