getting small web traffic

Website traffic is something you cannot calculate mathematically nor use logic in order to get it to your blogs or website. If you try to do so, you will sit down at your computer all day long, and each time you look over the latest statistics of your blog’ s traffic you get discouraged. Then you start wondering why you are not getting traffic yet according to you; you have done everything else right: you are writing on engaging topics, you have done SEO optimization; your blogs are tasteful and so forth. Here, are some of the possible reasons why you are not getting enough traffic.
 You are overly focused on content rather and forgetting the promotion aspect.

There is one thing you need to understand, and that is, just because you have built a formidable website, does not mean that you will get visitors naturally without doing any form of promotion. To attract visitors you need not only provide great content for then you also need to promote the site or blogs actively.

 You are not relying on the right traffic sources.
This could be another reason why you are not getting traffic. A site or blog can be more suited to a given traffic source over another. For instance, your site might do better with advertising over social media networks. The same case applied to traffic, guest blogging; traffic source for one site may not work for another, and it is upon you to try out another Avenue.

 You have a topic that does not interest anyone
Is it possible to have a narrow and interesting topic, which nobody cares about? This is hardly true but it is possible to have a boring one, which results to few or no visitors. In this case, you just have to build your topic along interesting lines.

 You are not patient
There is a saying; Rome was not built in a day. Neither were popular sites. You should not start wallowing of not getting enough traffic yet your site is just a few months old; you ought to give yourself time to sharpen your blogging skills.

 You are posting useless or uninteresting content
That may sound harsh, but the truth is to stand a chance in getting the traffic you have to be both interesting and useful. Otherwise, your site will not get enough traffic.

 Your topic is too broad.
If your blog covers too many different topics, then you sure will have a hard time creating your visitor's interest. Try sticking to narrow and interesting topics and with time, you will start getting traffic.

 The design on your site is not attractive
Your site might be having a design that is putting off your visitors. It could be too cluttered or just ugly. Check your site’s design once more and see if it is the reason you are not getting enough traffic.
 you are not giving the site or blog enough attention
You ought to know that building traffic requires effort, and if you are not applying enough of it, you should not complain of not getting traffic.
